Your view of the end of the world?

What do you think the end of the world, the fall of man, whatever you want to call it will be like? There are tons of different views.





-Judgement Day


-Ragnarok


-Meteor (well, with that one that might hit in 2037(?), its probably on more than a few minds).


-Nuclear War


-Global Warming


-The gradual diminishing of our species maybe, or the universe. From the little bit we know of cosmology and the fate of the universe at this point, it seems that the universe is expanding infinitely, and it is speeding up. The theory that protons have a half life of something like 10^26 years. That black holes evaporate. Stars die out. Its kind of sad to think about, instead of a big crunch, the gradual loss of everything.








Me? The fantasy geek in me likes Ragnarok, or if you know your Tolkien, "Dagor Dagorlath" (Tolkien based it off Ragnarok, so they are similar). I like the idea of going out in a blaze of glory. The scientist in me says nuclear war, or the gradual diminishing of it all.
