My favorite colour: Liver Chestnut with a FLAXEN mane and tail...
Reply:In the Arabian breed, the very dark brown is called "black bay". It's a gorgeous color, especially with white markings and its almost black, but with a reddish sheen in it's flanks and on it's muzzle. I also love the dark dappled greys with white manes and tails. These are really striking. there are other colors, too many to mention. Many years ago, a wise horseman told me. "The prettiest horse color is on the horse with the best conformation and disposition". How true!

One pony I know is a cute little chestnut with tiny white spots randomly on her body (she has some Ponys of America in her) She is adorable!


Most beautiful horse, I don't know... I agree with what you say, but I love chestnuts, bays, blacks, grays, and any other color basically!
Reply:I love all horses, but id have to say that my favorite is pure black with furry feet, like friesians.





Second runner up is chocolate browns with black mane and tails, with black legs too.





But all colorings put aside, their individual personalities is what makes them beautiful!
Reply:Personally, I would love to have a nice blue roan, and my least favorite color is sorrel. That said, I've yet to own a blue roan, and I can't count the number of sorrel horses I've had over the years. But, as they say, pretty is as pretty does. Best broke, easiest to get along with horse I've got on the place right now is a plain little sorrel mare.
Reply:black bunny- those are really cool! Have you read the book, Riding Lessons? It's by Sara Gruen. It's an AMAZING book also about 2 brindle horses.





I like all colors. It''s super hard to pick one. roans are cool, and black, like SUPER black with a white star.

Reply:I usually love jet blacks with white stockings and a white blaze . But the other day I saw a dapple grey with a big dark brown patch over its left eye that carried on down half its face - it was so random but I loved it !

Reply:For me, a golden buckskin with a little white on his feet (but with nice hard, black hooves) no higher than mid-cannon, a star and snip. Sigh....
